We have created animated picture books for children in flash so that we could add read along to the words and click on a word facility as well as animated full colour illustrations. However I was wondering if anyone knew of a different package that allows for this which can be read on multiple devices? We are looking at creating iphone apps too. Does anyone have experience of using different programs that can enhance the reading experience with animation/auto-flip pages, read along to the audio as words highlight etc? Previews of our books can be seen here if you are unsure of what I mean http://www.wizz-e.com/bookstore.php

Hi, I think the best ebook format is SWF, which allows you to add beautiful flash into ebooks. If you need a tutorial for how to create animated ebooks for children, there's a tutorial for you:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=msrXz59jcaw.

+2 EPUB is one of the most widely used formats on eBook marketplaces . This makes it a good choice if you want to reach a large distribution across eBook marketplaces that reach millions of consumers. +2 The EPUB format currently supports much of HTML5 and CSS3.

The most familiar penalty record is an .mp3. For eBooks, there are several formats out there. The Light uses the AZW initialise. I human no tune what AZW agency. But that's the file that the Conflagrate can read. It can also indicate .mobi files.

I recommend you to convert both Kindle and Epub formats for the maximum sales. Both formats are very popular and if you missed this and You'll miss huge revenue.

ePub is the best format and for children's books fixed layout ePub is preferred.
