doubt about "align in the middle" before I buy the software
pedrohmc
Hi every1,
Before I buy the software, I have a doubt I need to solve.
I just downloaded the trial version but the image of the book I tested seems out of place (I mean, not in the center of the image).
I just can't find a way to get the book I did to the center of the image. So, I wanna know how can I do that.
I tried to align it with the "horizontal center" funcion (menu edit > align). But it just doesn't work, it's just not up to press. Is it some kind of limitation of the trial version? Will I be able to center the book image when I get the full version?
I wait for a response, so I'll buy more sure.
Thank you very much and sorry for some english mistake. I try, but my natural language is portuguese, so I hope you get it!

I think the problem you describe is caused with the HTML code for your eBook.
Think of an HTML eBook as a specialized web site.. On some web sites all of the pages automatically align to the top left. On other web sites, web masters use code to force their web pages to automatically center in a browser window...
That same "centering" code would be needed to center the pages of an HTML eBook.
A different "centering" option would be to use a "custom" eBook size (see the Edit Menu/StartUp options)... For example if your eBook pages were 800px wide and you created your eBook to be 800px wide as well -- then the eBook pages would be automatically centered.. Right?
I hope this clarifies your problem...

Hi rlemire!
Thanks for helping but the problem can't be the html center tag cos there's no html generated or even image exported, since it's just the trial version.
Now I understand -- you are asking your question in the wrong forum section. This forum deals with E-Book Content and Design.
Sorry, but I've never used the CoverFactory software and have no idea how to solve your problem. Please submit this question in the appropriate CoverFactory.com forum where you are more likely to find a solution.

pedrohmc,
I believe your problem with centering is because the book cover image has lots of "white space" to the right of it. A picture comprises ALL of the graphic (including the white spaces). To get the images centered, crop the picture so that you get the bare minimum white space around the actual book image, then save the cropped file.
