One of my Kindle ebooks has been pirated and is available for download on 3 sites; 1 in the US, 1 in Canada, and one that appears to have hi-jacked a Belgium website. The Copyright Agent for Amazon tells me "Amazon.com is unable to assert copyright claims on your behalf.
We are not able to provide the legal advice regarding this matter. If you have questions of this nature, we recommend that you to seek independent legal counsel." Is this not incredible? Any advice would be welcome.

Hi,
Amazon doesn't fight for your copyrights. You have to.
1. Contact the owner of the site to remove your ebook files from their site. (Usually they don't care.) 2. Contact the host of the web sites (Do Whois) saying that one of their clients are hosting pirated copies of your material. 3. Contact a lawyer (if that ebook is that much worth to you) and see what they advice. 4. There are some online sites that post your complaints on their sites. Use them to post your problem. (Do a search on google for 'file complaint online piracy')
