I have an ipod photo and apparently I can look at ebooks through the 'extras' settings and then going to notes. Does anybody know how to do this please? Do I need any software and what file extensions can I view?
Thanks.

How do you read eBooks on your ipod?
With great difficulty!
Stick to texting -- unless you like short stories... really really short stories
something like...
"There was an young woman named Bright whose speed was much faster than light. She set out one day in a relative way and returned on the previous night."

I think this software is good to work with text only, but for pdf ebooks with images it does not convert the images in the ebooks to the ipod.
