Hi! I've been using Activ E-book Compiler for quite a while, but I've never had the opportunity to check out or try using the IF-ELSE-ENDIF Activ Script statement. Well, recently, I tried using it, but for some reason, running the script (even if I've copied the example in the HELP file exactly) gives me a message of:
Active Srcipt Error in Line 3 of scripter.as. Syntax Error in Activ Script command. Missing right bracket: IF('{dice}')=6 ) THEN
I've also tried tweaking it by adding brackets, but to no avail.
Funny, because the IFSTREQUAL function works fine. Can't figure out why the IF-ELSE-ENDIF command doesn't work.

Found the problem. In the help file, it uses THEN like so:
IF({dice} = 6 ) THEN MESSAGEBOX('You rolled a {dice}- lucky for some') ELSE MESSAGEBOX('You rolled a {dice}') ENDIF
Using THEN produces an error. But the script runs if THEN is eliminated. Maybe this should be corrected in the help file.....
