Is it possible to use active script to upload a file to a webserver and dispaly a progress bar while uploading.
I have accomplished this using a form within my ebook that then connects to a perl program on my server to do the uploading - however I cant display a progress bar in perl.
Thought Active script might have something that can communicate with the server while uploading to get a progress report and then display this grahically as a bar.
Anyone know if this is possible?

There isn't an Activ Script command built in for this
Can you give a bit more idea precisely what you are trying to do/upload?
It might be possible to automate an upload form using JavaScript
It would definitely be possible using the API to write an extension that did an upload using the WinInet API
You might also be able to force an upload using the GET method, and an encoded URL. I'm not sure how well this would work, or what limits this might have.
