Hi folks! I am working a lot these days on finalizing the content and look of my product. And in parallell to that I think about ways to charge customers for the passwords.
SUrely some basic PHP-script should be available to handle it all? Say a MySQL database with the passwords, and a script which passes some variable upon succesful payment. It does not need to be supersecure or fancy either. My intended customers do not have the computer skills nor the intention to ****

I realize this post is a bit dated, however, I am a PHP programmer (for several years now) and I have a script which I could scale down a bit. I created it a few months back to do exactly what you're seeking. It allows people to purchase a password and automates the entire process via PayPal's IPN.
If anyone is interested, please PM me and let me know. It currently is a bit extensive, so I will tone it down a bit, to do just what is needed on a basic level, and sell it for about $20.
