I need to allow printing of what's on the screen only (not the entire HTML file...)

Any idea for something secure ?

It may be possible in JavaScript, not sure

Another way would be with a C routine (perhaps using the API toolkit).  In C, you start from the ebook's window handle, BitBlt that into a memory bitmap, then send that to the printer.

In your ebook source code, you can use a script to drive that.

It's do-able but does require a fair amount of work.

You can't use the print screen key while using the no paste/ no print protection... Correct ?

Any other easy way to let the user, for example copying only 1000 caracters from the book and no more, while protecting it ?
