I have a few ideas for ebooks in the works and am busy developing them. One of my topics is about cats. I've been around cats for a long time and become an expert of sorts about them. Just adopted two cats from a local shelter, by the way.
I also enjoy writing and have had a book and quite a few articles published.
Good morning Workingwriter, It is 6:30 A.M. here and all’s well. I just wanted to introduce myself. I am new to this site too but I think that I am going to enjoy hanging out here. I am a fellow cat lover too-I have eight of them at the moment-Simba (my only male), Sugar, Fluffy, Precious, Fur Ball, Angel, Bobble Head, and Nikki. Nikki and Simba are the only two that are not related to each other or to any of the others. Precious is the mother of Fluffy, Sugar, Angel, Fur Ball, and Bobble Head. People often refer to my house as Jerry’s CatHouse and I guess you can see why. They’re like family too me so I don’t plan on putting any up for adoption, on the other hand, neither do I plan on having anymore.
The bottom line is that my cats really don’t know that they are cats-they think that they are people and I don’t think that they would know how to act if I started treating them like cats. Let face it, they even take turns sharing my meals with me-they eat off one side of my plate while I eat off the other. That really grosses some of my friends and family out at times but they know that to love me is to love my cats/kids. Somehow, the “kids” know when there are guests in the house and refrain from joining us at table. Let me tell you, I have some cute cat stories to tell.
I love dogs too, but I do not have any now. No room in the inn for them.
I am new to the E-Book scene but I am planning a series of e-books (maybe 25 books) on basic electricity and electrical repairs for the DIYer. I have had over 25 years experience in the electrical trades having done everything from industrial/commercial to residential electrical work. I have also been a DIYer for over 40 years so I feel uniquely qualified to write this type of book. I have done a thorough search of the web and all the DIY sites that I have found really offer superficial information where electrical work is concerned. Right now, I am thinking of offering the first book/lesson free and then selling the remainder individually or as a set. I have not set a price for these books individually or as a set yet, but I would give people who purchased them as a set a substantial discount. What do you think of this idea? I would like your opinion.
Welcome I am also new just Joined a few minutes ago.. the only thing is, I don't know if I want to publish my book on line !!!! I am really looking for it to be published into book form.. but I can't seem to find anyone...
