When I registered, I read something that sounded like links in signatures aren't allowed, but then I saw an example next to the signature box that contained a link. I posted to the free ads section, but I'd like to spread the word about website in my signature too. Am I allowed?
Hmmm... Thought I'd take a look at the TOS, but there are none. The closest thing I could find the Privacy Statement link at the bottom of the page, which has no mention of signature links. The two help links at the top of the page don't mention anything about signature links either.
There is a link to your web site at the top of your posting, but I agree a signature link is more convenient.
It'll be interesting what Sunil has to say on the matter.
Either I misread it the first time, or it was changed. It looks like a link to your website in a signature is allowed:
"4. You will not use this BB for the purposes of advertisement or solicitation, except in the area specifically provided for that purpose, or in signature lines, and within the guidelines set for this board."
The part saying "or in signature lines" might be new.
Links in sigs are allowed, but no affiliate or ***
links in sigs (you can link to your own personal/business web site, but *not* an affiliate link, and *not* a self-replicating site)
