I have just written an Ebook, that has a start to the book, an introduction, and 10 chapters. This is my very first time and I am having trouble getting it all set up to run through the Activ Ebook Compiler. Could someone please help this confused man, with a step by step list, of exactly how to do the final stages to complete my book? Like how to save each individual part to the 'source file' (which I do have by running the Activ Quick Project), and the code of how to link between each chapter or page. (I have over 100 pages written in Microsoft Word. Can I just link between the chapters, or do I need to link to each page?) Also, I would like to link from the 'Contents' to each chapter. I have tried doing these things myself, but have not gotten it right. Also any other steps needed to 'Finish' any Ebook! I imagine these instructions will be of help to other people as well. Some of the problems I have had: When I 'save as webpage' and then do a 'webpage review', there is always some formatting errors--highlighting problems, some of the larger headlines overlap, sentence changing, etc. How can I fix these? I did download: Microsoft Office 2000 HTML Filter 2.0, to clean up the files from Office 2000 documents that are saved as HTML. As you can see, I need some help.
