Howdy all, looking for your expertise. I am writing a how-to manual and would like to offer the viewer a printable 8 1/2 x 11 page form. No information will be needed to be filled into the form prior to printing. This form was originally saved in Excel 97. I am not happy with the results when saved as a webpage. Any suggestions? Incorporate it in as a hyperlink? Thanks for your assistance. GoWieder@aol.com
You could put the original excel file in, and link it from an HTML page like this [A HREF="##OPEN('{ebook}\worksht.xls')"]Click here[/A] - change [ ] ro less-than or greater-than signs in HTML code
User will need Excel or Excel Viewer to see this
or you could make a bitmap (BMP) file and open it in paint (which is included with Windows). I know some people use this idea for designs that need exact printing [A HREF="##OPEN('{ebook}\worksht.bmp')"]Click here[/A]
or you could make it into a GIF or PNG then put the image image in the page. Don't know how well this will print, but worth a try
