Using Activ Ebook Compiler for other uses

»Software is capable of so much more

Danial I have found a few ways to use Activ Ebook Compiler in different ways than just for writing eBooks. Since you can block the viewer from seeing destinations on the Internet, you can direct people to hidden web pages and keep them from getting out of the software by not providing any external links on the web pages. You can also use what is most of the time the most insecure java script page security to password protect those internet pages by not allowing the user to view page sources or to even right click on the documents being presented.

Basically you can create a focused browser to provide content that can be changed and updated at any time. You can also block the user out and force a new software download to view the content and can provide email services via CGI scripts running on the web so you can have private email conversations as well.

I have also made pages with java script games and fun programs to use in the eBooks. There is just so much more you can do with this software. You can also put images in the eBooks so they can be downloaded to a persons computer as an archive. I am sure there is far more yet that will be discovered that can be done with this software.
