I have a new ebook coming out over the next few weeks, and would like to ask if anyone would be interested in either proof reading or reviewing? The book title is 'A Fateful Aberration', and it will be going up on Kindle, mobi, ePub, to name but three.
The story is embedded in my interests in working class history and progressive ideas, and I also think it's a real good yarn. The story is loosely centred around Moorfield Colliery Altham (the Colliery is long gone, but the moving memorial to the Moorfield disaster stands just by the canal bridge at Altham), and highlights, inter alia, the hard and dangerous lives that these people lived in the 1880's. There is humour in there too, and oblique references to the emancipation ideas of Mary Wolstonecraft, Ibsen et al.
You can download a 'Kindle for PC' for free from Amazon, and peruse my book and many others.
