Collecting Email addresses

harv If I allow an ebook to be rebranded by others what
would be the best way (if any) to collect the
Email addresses of the readers of the rebranded
books ?

dreuby I think you'd need something in the ebook itself, such as a password which only allows the book to be opened once the email address has been sent.

Or you could just include a form asking for readers to email you - perhaps to sign up for a free ezine, or another freebie such as a relevant report. You wouldn't get everyone, but those you did get would probably be interested in your topic, and so more useful for future mailings.

You might find that you have more than enough work collecting the addresses of those who download directly (ie those who are going to rebrand the book) - I know I have!
