Hallo everyone, I've just set up my new site offering design services to all ebook, ezine writers as well as logos. My problem now is marketing, I want to reach out to more people especially ebook writers. This is the only site/forum I know of. I need new ideas and sites to tell people about my work. Please assist. Thanking you in advance, A.Kay19
Exchanging links with relevant, but not competing, sites is a help. I use the free versions of Arelis to find links to useful sites, and Internet Business Promoter. Both athttp://www.axandra.com/index.htm I'd upgrade to the paid versions if I had the money - I've found them really useful.
http://www.linkspartners.com/will also help you find sites - you don't have to exchange with everyone, just any that you want to. I don't use their software, just their links directory.
Some of the Marketing options for you in the begining:
1.Pay per click engines: Like goto.com and google ad words is a way to get in to track if you want a little bit push up. But remember most important tip for PPCs: Try to grab your visitors email addresses by giving something useful to them.(in your case like a free course for 7 days on ebook designs and colors. OR how to increase sales 300% with ebook covers etc. These are only examples)
2. Search engine submission: I saw your site. Good. If you optimize your pages with title and good keywords, it would be little more better. Submitt to search engines after optimizing with keywords.
3.Go to ezinelocater.com. Go to ezine listings with 'Articles wanted' section. Submit artiicles that are focused on your website theme.
4.On the same website, you can see ezines which allow ad swaps and free ads. You can use this facility to promote your service.
5. Most important is start your own mailing list or autoresponder course to get your visitors emails.
There are other methods like classified ad submissions, link exchanges with other websites, ezine ads(paid) etc.,
But for now I hope this keeps you busy for quite some time.
Hello, Thank you so much dreuby and Radhika for your replies. I have viewed the suggested sites and am really getting the grip on marketing. Let me say it was a good start for me and am learning alot in the process. Drueby just like you mentioned, now the hard part begins, couldn't be more true. Am making the effort though and receiving a number of vistors so far. Radhika, I have checked on google ad words and its quite costly for me. Though I have submitted my site to as many search engines as possible. My next target is to offer free ebooks on the site as well as free templates designed by myself. So this is my way of attracting more people. Happy new year! kay19
I've just found and joinedhttp://www.linkleads.com which is similar to LinkPartners. Once you've joined, search the directory, or browse by category, and choose sites you'd like to link with.
