first ebook questions

invicta G'day folks,

I'm currently working on my first ebook which is currently at around 17K words plus images and although I'm not 100% certain it's possible, I'd like to include links that would take the reader to various parts of my website to give them further info for their own research purposes.

I take it that when the ebook is finished, I convert it to PDF but what I need to know is will the clickable links still work when it's in PDF format?

Thanks in advance for any guidance!

Judith Tramayne One of the best ways to make a PDF with clickable links to pages on your site is to use free software from:

This is a whole business suite but what you'll be using is the Writer portion of Open Office.

It's a wordprocessing program just like Word with one huge benefit.  It's open source; therefore, it's free.

You can make a clickable left pane for your chapters and also your links to your website can be made clickable.

Hope this helps,
