Promoting An Ebook?

unicornelius Hi,
I`m new to ebook publishing and found my way in through placing a few simple reports on my websites got the spiders to give me a higher ranking. I`d like to promote my books further for better visibility, but a lot of the sites i`m being directed to seem to want to charge me for hosting or liking back to my site, the others want a link in return. I can see a fair trade in this I`m not oblivious to helping others as much as myself. But are there any `Free` places out there?

Gliane08 You may want to try other options in promoting your ebook.

Here are some few tips:

a)JV partnership( get traffic by asking web master or site owner to join promoting by offering them an amount of commission)

b) Search engine optimization

c) Article marketing

d) Social networking

e) Blogging

f) Youtube

g) Free Classifieds

h) Press release- this assumes you have something worth talking about

i) send an email to bloggers/social networks that have large followings and tell them about your site.

Hope this could help you. Feel free to PM me if you have questions with regards to this. You may also want to check this site to learn more about ebook marketing ideas -> http://ebook-profitmaker.com/

sayitsar I think if you are newbie just try google adwords to promote your ebook. It will increase traffic to your landing page. Also join clickbank like my self and sell your ebook in clickbank. I prefer choose it because it is easy.

Globaltraveller I have tried both clickbank and click2sell, but my preference is click2sell. It is due to the security in the delivery of the ebook. The thank you page feels more secure and is more professional. Also the setup process was alot easier and free compared to clickbank.

busine55 Hi,

There are a few places you can post and sell your ebooks.

1. tradebit.com
2. lulu.com
3. ebay - nowadays, you can only sell physical goods in CD/DVD. No more by electronic means. Ebook burnt into a Cd/DVD.
4. various auction sites.

Rest of the sites such as classified sites, newsgroups, usenets, newsletters, social networking sites, social bookmarking sites, video sharing sites.

Cheers !
