denver I hope someone here can help me cos I'm pretty desperate now. I heard that eBooks and info reports are a legit [as opposed to snake-oil] method of making a lot of money online very quickly. I got a newsletter from Tiffany Dow (know her?) that even shows how to do this on a zero budget. I should just mention that I didn't write an eBook but rather a 6-page essay-type article. I already had it converted to Pdf format on Adobe Acrobat and then zipped it and stored it on my hard-drive.
There is a chance I could sell it and realistically make my desired target income of $500 within 48 hours. But one crucial factor makes this nearly-impossible. I live in South Africa and we are not allowed to receive payment via PayPal here. No other service can effectively substitute for PayPal (not Moneybookers, not Clickbank, etc). If I want to hit my target within two or three days, I MUST have full PayPal access. But I don't. To cut a long story short, I cannot sell my article. I came up with an ingenious alternative:

My article is written under a pseudonym version of my own real name. I was thinking about turning it over to someone better placed than me for them to sell the article online AS THEIR OWN! This person would have to live in a country with full PayPal access. The article itself is already compiled. It's pretty good in quality and style. Viral marketing would be the most apt promotional method.

I want to turn it over to a suitable individual, I want that person to promote and sell it as their own, I want that person to make a lot of money from it very quickly and then send me my once-off share of $500 via Moneygram and keep the rest for themself. I actually believe that it could be a potential multi-thousand seller article.

Whoever can implement this idea IS NOT TAKING ANY RISK! I'm the one taking a risk. By turning over my idea to a stranger, I have no guarantee that they'd even pay me a cent if they made any money. Also, I'm only asking to be paid AFTER that person has already made money, NOT IN ADVANCE! Plus I'm only asking to be paid once-off and a fraction of the total income. I really, really need this money really, really fast. So all in all, I think that this is a fair proposal. And if we can make a success of THIS project, we could collaborate in the future in the same way viz. My work + someone else's access to resources (eg. access to PayPal, good promo skills). So this is not a **** - the only reason I'm proposing this is that I don't have PayPal access. No chancers please! Can anyone assist me? Respond ASAP!

jaesonlewis It depends on the site, the potential customers, the product or service on offer...For some direct advertising is the best method. Others use directoriies, social media or forum posting. Some just publish great content and get hundreds of referrals.

Mariya786 Hi,

If you want advertise your ebook then go for:

1.Forums:If you are an active writer online, this step should be easy. Even if you have no experience with online writing groups or forums, it won't be hard to implement this. First, ask the forum or group heads if you can submit a short piece on your eBook.

2.Blogs:There are thousands of blogs with more starting every day so this is a huge market for finding a readership. You can start your own blog to advertise your eBook, or you can query other bloggers.

I hope i helped you.

Thanks

Hi,

Thanks for that. I am wondering what the correct balance of contributing vs advertising is on the boards?

What works for you? I mean on some boards I naturally get involved and just become part of the community, whereas others I don't feel that kind of affinity, and yet I still have something to contribute.

How do you contribute without spamming? I guess answering peoples questions is a good starting point, at least that way you are helpful.

Anyone?
