When I first decided to work from home I was very confused as well. I found the internet to be a life saver filled with information. Ebooks are a great way to learn and benefit. You can find free Ebooks online; such as, Online Business: A Practical Primer for the Netrepreneur Newbie by Angela Wu which gives practical advice about starting an internet home based business. One of the best chapters is titled, “Making Use of the Best Free Advertising Available.” That chapter alone is worth the effort of downloading the book.
Thanks for the heads up on the ebook. Took me a little bit to find a free copy. At first the only thing that kept coming up on Google was these bloated advertisement sites trying to sell me "master resell rights" to tons of ebooks or sites that wanted to sell me that particular ebook ranging from $26-$37. I finally found a website that offered it for free as well as tons of other ebooks. I just had to sacrifice an email address.
I say sacrifice because I know how it works. You sign up at the site and must confirm your address. Then you get bombarded with tons of advertisements from the website owner and so forth.
Granted, getting people to sign up on your mailing list is one thing, but the tactics employed by many of these "master resell" ebooks sites really give the ebook industry a cheap name.
