I've never really "experimented" with using controversy in my ebook marketing (think "The Rich Jerk" ), but I was kind of wondering if it really works? Has anybody tried this sort of approach.
Would it really be worth my time and the defensive hassle to shock someone, make someone angry, or tap into a controversial idea. Is the money there?
I don't think making someone angry is the goal. In order to present it you must include both sides or people will think you are just trying to make them mad and won't come back. So in short, yes controversy sells.
