I am new to this. I have always wanted to put my training seminars on CD or DVD but the pirating issue was a real snag. Activ E-Book has solved that issue and I finished production on a 30 hour training program on a four CD set.They just came out in December and have received good reviews and wide distribution. This would never have been possible without the E-Book Compiler. As far as marketing, I don't put a lot of effort into it. My customers do that for me ;-)
As long as you have a unique product and a way to get it out there initially, it can work. No one has ever done what I have done with a training package in my industry. 30 hours of virtual classroom at a fraction of the cost of any other training offered.
This was my first venture into this and it was a HUGE project but the payoff has been great and I expect it to be in the future. It's also such a great deal for the consumer over attending a real classroom...cheaper and it can be watched over and over.
