Splash screen

Mistymq I've noticed that on different machines the splash screen of an ebook will stay visible a different amount of time.  And it seems to go by faster the more you open the product.  Is there a way to set the amount of time it is visible?

EBookCompiler Not at present

Look out for an update in future on this feature

The speed different between machines is well probably just a difference in the machines.

The difference on the same machine is probably because the ebook is in the "disk cache"  (a special area of memory which stores a copy of recently accessed areas of the disks to speed up the PC) after you run it the first time.

EBookCompiler Version 4.20 and later (4.20 will begin beta today, and email is being prepared now) fixes this
1. Splash screen is shown earlier
2. Splash screen have have an extra delay set from 0.0 to 9.9 secs
3. You can optionally add a % bar under the splash

See Edit Start Up in Advanced Features section of the Help
