RiffRaff After compiling your book pages, are you clicking the "OUTPUT" tab and giving your book a file name?

mmishra Yes,
I have followed Activ quick project

Introduction

This file contains instructions on how to create your E-Book. You may wish to Print these instructions for future reference.

Folders

All the files relating to this project have been placed in C:\Ebook_testing folder, and sub-folders under this:C:\Ebook_testing
This folder is the main folder of the project. It contains the saved project settings.

C:\Ebook_testing\source
This folder should be filled with the HTML and graphic files which will eventually make up the content of your E-Book.

C:\Ebook_testing\output
This folder will contain the compiled E-Book (the file that you should distribute to your readers).
More detailed information on what is contained in each of these folders, are given below.

Creating Your E-Book's Source Files

You need to put the source files (the HTML and graphics files will eventually make up your E-Book) in the source folder, C:\Ebook_testing\source.

You will find detailed instructions on this process in the Getting Started section of the Help.

Your Splash Screen

As requested, you are using the default Activ E-Book splash screen graphic. Should you wish to change to an alternative splash screen graphic later, please perform the following steps:
Create your splash graphic in your favorite graphics program. If you do not have a professional graphics program then the Windows Paint utility can be used for this task.

Save the graphic into the Windows .bmp format. We recommend that you save the graphic as 16 color or monochrome to keep the file as small (and quick loading) as possible (Windows Paint includes these options in the Save As dialog box).

Start Activ E-Book Compiler.

Open your project, ebook_testing.aep, which can be found in the C:\Ebook_testing folder.

Click 'Start Up' on the 'Edit' menu.

On the dialog box, click 'Browse' then select the File name of your image.

Click 'OK' on the Edit Start Up dialog.

Next time your run your E-Book from the compiler, your splash graphic will be included.

Using Activ E-Book Compiler

A saved Activ E-Book Project has been created in the C:\Ebook_testing folder, called ebook_testing.aep. Activ E-Book Compiler has been started with this project already open. When you are ready to create the E-Book from your source files, please perform the following steps:
Bring the Activ E-Book Compiler to the front.

Click 'Run' on the 'Build' menu.
If you close Activ E-Book Compiler, then you will need to do this instead:
Start Activ E-Book Compiler.

Click 'Open' on the 'File' menu.

Open your project, ebook_testing.aep, which can be found in the C:\Ebook_testing folder.

Click 'Run' on the 'Build' menu.

The E-Book

Your E-Book will be created in the C:\Ebook_testing\output folder, and will be called ebook_testing.exe. This is the file that you should should distribute to people who wish to read your E-Book.
