I am setting up a 'shareware' type ebook and have a password protected page which links to the main part of the the book. I'm testing it at the moment and am finding that after entering the password, it is not possible to view the protected page without having to first close and then re-open the ebook.
I have tried various 'add-in' commands (on correct password) including ##NAVIGATE('protectedpage.html') and ##REFRESH() but to no avail.
Would appreciate a pointer in the right direction on this please.
OK to answer my own question, this only seems to be a problem if I use the system generated password entry page, if I use my own html page then it works fine ...
Continuing my discussion with myself I think a problem does arise if the 'get the password' page is preprocessed.
I was using [={p}] in a form on the page. With the preprocessing turned on, the 'on correct password' add-in command failed. But when I omit the form and turn off the preprocessing, it works fine.
Could this be something to do with the preprocessor re-preprocessing the page upon entry of a correct password?
