Being in a mischievous mood...

RiffRaff In these politically correct times, it strikes me as curious as to how "rlemire", esteemed and articulate scribe on these and other forums, and a jolly good chap to boot, can be labelled with the tag of "advanced member".
Has he one?
Worse yet, is he one?
Yes, he's more dots than most at the side of his name , but whether that's because of money changing hands, or helpful and erudite posts, or a reference to certain parts of his anatomy, I don't know....

rlemire Riffraff;

In a bit of a mood were you? Verry funnny!

As a Full-of-it Member, you should know you can't rise from a full member to an advanced member by member envy alone (or by using enhancement supplements).

Some, in this forum, try to increase their member (tag) by making inane comments to legitimate posts. However, the practice of adding valueless comments like ("I certainly agree with you. Your advice is really very helpful for us." or "Good research and gathering of the info" ) are not helpful, make a member smaller, and just might make a member disappear altogether.

The secret to getting an advanced member (tag) is not "money changing hands". You've got to show what little you do have more often. Put it out in front of the forum and let it shine. In time, and with practice, contributing your bit to the organization as a whole will give you the satisfaction you desire.

RiffRaff Dear Reader...
No doubt good advice in the main, but please note that in the past I have indeed "Put it out in front ...and let it shine"...
My case comes up before the magistrates next Thursday...
