I downloaded the Active E-book software just the other day to check it out before I buy. I've never done anything like this before. I am somewhat literate in HTML, have been using MS word 2000 to write my content and then save as html.
I think I must have done somethinmg wrong as I keep getting the "sharing violation" message -- telling me to shut down my ebook because it is already running. Problem is, I haven't a clue how to shut it down!
It isn't running as far as I know -- by that I mean I closed it the last time I worked on it. I thought fine, I'll just make a new folder in the source file, move my written material -- "index files" into the new folder and start over again.
Nothing.(?) So, anyone willing to help out a very frustrated newbie? I intend to purchase an ebook compiler but obviously that means I need to know how to use one effectively.
