I am the type of person who is always tweaking my system, adding new hardware and software, and I always seem to end up with at least one program every 3 to 6 months that causes some major headache that I can't get rid of. Whenever I get to this point, I generally reformat my system's hard drive and end up starting from scratch, which in turn means reinstalling all the software applications I have all over again.
The question I have is; How do I register "Activ E-Book" after reinstalling the software on the same machine? In otherwords, the UserID will be different than what I registered with originally. Is there a solution to this without having to contact anybody first?
Thanks for the info. So far I've been fortunate enough that I haven't had to re-format, but I'm sure I'll be due for one sometime in the very near future.
