In the past week or two weeks, I have had two people contact me about download links not working. (The links in the ebook lead to files on my server.) They both state when they click them that the link changes color and thts it. When I do it, it loads a browser then asks me to save it. When the save box appears, the browser window disappears like it's suppose to.
Both of these people have XP and IE 6. (One might be IE 7 but positive one is IE 6) The person w/ IE 6 doesn't have a virus scanner or firewall. They ran Ad-Ware and nothing showed up. I don't believe it's an IE 6 security setting as it prompts when people do something that is blocked.
I have noticed that if you don't have a browser open already it might take a few extra seconds but not long enough that would cause them to think there is something wrong.
Any suggestions as to what I could have them try?
Also, I am positive the ebook works as I can't duplicate the error.
