Ridiculous to have to ask I know, but I don't seem to be able to tempt a reply from the site webmaster - anybody know how much the ebook 4.22 software is in STERLING?! Been fleeced lately by a few sites that seem to think that 1$ = 1£!
Cheers, jmiguy, but just because there's an exchange rate doesn't mean that everyody uses it! Seems strange that the company that issues Activ is based in the UK but only lists the price in US currency! Bothers to remind you about VAT being added, but doesn't tell you how much to start with! It's OK to give a credit card number to purchase, but without knowing the amount you're charged in advance? No thanks! Have asked the question a few days ago, but no reply as yet....How do "they"expect to sell a product if you don't know the price? Also asked if I could use PayPal, but no response to that question either.....Seems bloody odd to me.....
Yes they take PayPal. They use ClickBank which allows you to use PayPal.
Also, I found this at the bottom of the home page:
* $29.95 price does NOT include Value Added Tax ("VAT" which may be applicable if you are resident in a European Union country. VAT (if applicable) is charged at the appropriate national rate for your country. The amount of VAT (if any) and the total price of the product will be clearly shown on the secure order form, after you select your Country of residence, but before you give final confirmation that you do want to proceed with the purchase.
This is a great product. I've used it for a number of years and I'm very satisfied. The technical support you recieve from Sunil and from others at this forum is unsurpassed.
You may not get an immediate response, but you will get all the help you could ever ask for.
Thanks, jmiguy - quite right! Shame the PayPal logo isn't shown before getting that far into the procedure. Incidentally, the answer to other prospective UK buyers is (about) £19.02 (as at 16/8/06) inc. VAT. Not bad, huh?! Regards to all....
