Using the eBook as a sequential autoresponder

Caroline
Hello again,

My colleague has this interesting spin on an eBook and was advised to post on the forum for more information.  So, here goes.

Many people use sequential autoresponders to send daily messages over 7 to 10 days in order to increase their chances of success.  Can the Activ ebook function as a kind of sequential autoresponder?  That is, a limited content is available immediately on download, and then on each day, additional content is released as per the programmed schedule.  Thus, instead of the free content being available all at once, it can be handed over at measured intervals.

Will any Activ Script program be able to achieve this function?

Caroline

Storyman Just to be sure I understand. The objective is to parse out sections of the free ebook. One solution that has been proffered in this forum is to use a text file that the ebook retrieves from the seller's site. You'll need to do a search in the forum for details on how it was done.

An alternative approach is to use RSS or Blog. Blogging is easier to get started and Google now has a specific area for blogs, so this might be a good choice.

Here is the URL for Google's blogger--it's free.

Google also spiders its own blogs quickly, which is another advantage.
