Just to be sure we are on the same page. It appears that you are attempting to compile an ebook. If that is the case first verify that all files (imgages, html/htm, etc.) are all contained in the source file and that NO FOLDERS are contained within the source directory.
It is easiest if you use a single html page to create a test ebook for yourself. Be certain that the output is written to the OUTPUT folder.
At this point lets work from a single HTML page that is in the source folder.
1) under the directory 'My Documents' create a folder called 'My Ebooks'. 2) create three folders inside of 'My Ebooks': include, output, source. 3) open Activ and create a project file. Save the project file to the 'My Ebooks' folder.
Open Windows Explorer and verify that the project file 'name-of-project.aep' exist inside the 'My Ebooks' folder along with the folders: include, source, output.
4) copy the test html file to the source folder. 5) return to Activ and set up the source folder. When you click on the files tab you should see the test HTML page. If you don't press F5 to refresh the folder. If you still don't see it then you need to stop and make certain that you understand how to create a new project. 6) click on the Output tab, then double click on Output. A window will open. Use browse to locate the Output folder. 7) click on the icon with the airplane. You should now be able to access your ebook.
I have tried all thath you have written, but i still won't work i have tried it 4 times now, the program findes my index file but wenn i press the airplane, after i have done wath you have written in number 6, it only showes the splash screen and then it still quits.
