Can this be done? Basically, the js file will be a dynamically generated script from another program. I can create the code, I just need to know how to call it from inside the ebook. Code examples would be greatly appreciated.

Sure, this is done. It helps if you know exactly where the .js file resides, as the ebook will decompress into a temp folder that is deleted when the ebook closes.
I'm not sure what your configuration will be, but if you need the current ebook file location, you'll want to use the [app] variable listed in your Activ compiler help file.
That may not be as useful here, because your temp directory is deleted after use.
