E-book enhancements

lefaivre I am a beginning Activ E-Book Compiler user.  I understand the basics - now I want to make the book look better.  I understand that I should be able to do whatever I want with html but it seems difficult and time consuming.

I saw (a few days ago on the Internet) an interesting program that said it worked with several compilers (Activ being one).  The program was a series of book covers and apparently a formatter that allowed you to create a book-like interface.  The book seemed to be open on the desktop, it had sections (or pages) in a series of tabs on the edge of the pages.  I got the idea that you compiled a book then "slipped" it into this format.

My problem is that I went back to look again thinking that I would like to buy it and I can't (for the life of me) figure out where I saw it.  Sound familiar to anyone?  Can anybody give me some other suggestions to accomplish the same thing?

EBookCompiler Could it have been EBook Starter:http://www.ebookcompiler.com/j.php?wsnet

Also for covers, there are some bonuse templates included.

On the boxes package I will also be adding a link to Barbara Wilson's site:http://www.ecoverdesigns.com/- in the next update. She did a great job doing a cover for Power Domain Search (the cover she made me is about half was downhttp://www.marketingrocket.com/pwrds.htmlthis page)
