Is it Just Me?

debclicks My wish list is that I wasn't so darn stupid!

Is it just me or did everyone feel totally hopeless when they first wrote an 'ebook' in microsoft word 2000, but then didn't have any clue as to what to do from there?

I've been reading and reading ... reading posts, surfing sites, looking for information (though I really think i'm hoping someone will jump out of my computer, sit with me and 'hold my hand' every step of the way).  If there's anyone out there who will do that ... ahh i'm dreaming again. heheh

Anyway, i'm really really new ... in fact so new at this that I probably shouldn't be doing it, lol. Perhaps i've got too many questions and I should start at the beginning.

Can someone please tell me where the beginning is so I can at least make some sort of headway?

I found the ebook apprentice section ... oh I love that and wish to thank the person who made that area from the bottom of my heart.

Thank you all and I promise i'm waiting to catch you and supply you with food and drinks if you will jump out of my computer very soon

EBookCompiler Hi there

I made EBookApprentice.  It needs a bit of an update, but I'm glad it's helping you.

I'm sure others will post their ideas for how they got into it.  I know there have been quite a few people who started the same way as you and struggled a bit to get going - but they got there in the end.

If you're learning, my best suggestion is to follow the tutorial and make a practise e-book or three first (first one can follow the tutorial exactly, and then maybe the second one you can add some of your own stuff but keep it small, and so on), rather than going for the real e-book on your first attempt
