ebookmaker I have just used and made a few ebooks, and have looked in my temp file and have seen loads of images and files that should be protected.

Is it possible to protect images in an eBook?

At the moment the images and script files in the ebooks made with Active E-Book Compiler are not protected.

GuidingLight Hi, you could always use this programhttp://www.protware.com/I use it all the time before compiling my creation, you even have options to slice your images using the image guardian, I found it very useful

ebookmaker Hi GuidingLight, that program will only protect images in the webpage, I need something to protect them in the temp file.
It would be good if the ebook was complied into one program with the webpages inside (no temp file)

Is that the case? Is it possible? Do you even know what I mean?

Yes, that's what I would like to see in the next version, I did put it in as a suggestion in this topichttp://www.ebookfriends.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard/topic.cgi?forum=1&topic=265
Maybe you could put a suggestion in to, the more people that ask for a feature, the more chance its got of being added in the next version

I know some compilers load the ebook from memory rather than a temp file.

But for now, I use the above program, I know it doesn't totally protect your images, but the program cuts them up into smaller pieces, so if any one should find them they would have to put the image together like a jigsaw before they can even do anything with it, I take it you also have print screen disabled in your ebooks, to prevent screen capture as most people can images that way, as you probably know
