Hello all Just made another ebook but this time the chapters were all jumbled up. It may be windows fault as everything there gets put in alphabetical order. Tried putting numbers, 1. 2. 3. 4. before each chapter but the chapters came out the same. Is there a way around this please.
Secondly. I have asked this before and several people have replied so forgive me for asking again. I wanted to use Ebookstarter. but did'nt know how. When youv'e made the ebook here, how do you get the chapters from your newly made ebook to add to the pages of ebookstarter . What program did you use to split up the the different chapters.
I might be able to help with your page ordering problem. I just downloaded the software a few days ago, but I figured out that part. I basically followed the help guide in the software.
I number my pages 'page1', 'page2', etc. The first page I name 'index.' Then, after the ebook is compiled, if the pages are in the wrong order, here's what you can do:
Click the 'Files' tab in the ebook compiler. All of your pages will be listed on the left. Click on the page you want to move and then press one of the 4 blue arrow tabs on the toolbar. The arrow tabs will let you move the page up or down in order or allow you to move the page to the top or bottom (front or back) of the ebook. You can do this with any or every page to get the order right. Then, click on the 'Build' tab and click 'Run.' Your ebook will be updated in the new order you specified. That should do it.

You can also order your pages in Activ ebook itself. If you open your project and click the Files tab, it will list all the files in that ebook. You can click on a file (page) and use the arrows on the tool bar to move them up and down the list. This tells Activ what order to put the pages in. (It also affects the Table of Contents if you have one.)
