is this by design or am I doing something wrong? I have been unable to get any background to print when I use the HTML page as source is E-Book it always comes out white.
Do this: 1. Start Internet Explorer 2. Tools -> Internet Options (may be View -> Internet Options on some computers) 3. Go to Advanced tab 4. Scroll down to printing 5. Check the box for printing background images. Press OK
You may need to close + restart your E-Book for these settings to take effect
Ok then next question and then I think Ill be done for a bit. Once I change this setting will the effect (showing the background image) be compiled into the book, or will it be dependant on the end-user's setting whether they will see the background or not. I dont want to format around an image that will only sometimes show up in my finished book.
It will depend on the end-user's settings. Unfortunately this is how Microsoft designed the IE engine, and I'm not sure that we can do anything about it
I don't know if this will work - try it - but try a big table with a background instead of a page background, this may work more as "expected"
I got my images to show up, now Id like to know if it is possible to include subdirectories in my source files. The problem was I had all my images/background in the ./images directory as is the norm in web design. I assumed that the compiler would include the files. I really dont want to put all 115 images in my main source directory, please tell me I dont have to?
Thanks again, and I promise Ill stop being a pain soon
