help with FILESAVEPROMPT, please

Mummu Hiya --

I'm trying to get my hands a bit dirty and learn some of the coding aspects of Activescripting and linking...and have a really simple question that has totally stumped me

I'm trying to create a link in my ebook where the user clicks on a graphic and has the ability to save that graphic onto his or her hard drive....

my link presently looks like this -->

<A HREF="##FILESAVEPROMPT('z','q','Saving','C:\','filename.jpg')##FILECOPY('z','filename.jpg','filename.jpg')"> <img src="filename.jpg"></A>

I've tried probably a zillion variations on these using all the FILE*** statements to no avail....

Would anyone mind giving a quick pointer?

Thanks!
Dan

Mummu GOT IT!

Wow...you gotta love google.  After hours and hours of trial and error, etc. I posted here begging for help.  2 min later, I decided to merely hop on google and search for FILESAVEPROMPT......

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=filesaveprompt

And boom....I found one of the other siteshttp://www.ebookcode.com/scripts/graph1.htm
which told me what I needed.

You gotta love google

Thanks anyway

Dan

victorroestad The code on the page seems to be working great with images, but it does not work when I try setting it up for a HTML file.

I can click on it and it prompt to download it (same as with the picture files), but when I have selected a location and clicked "OK" the file is not present where it is suposed to be downloaded.

Any suggestions, please?

Best regards,

EBookCompiler You want to save HTML files from your ebook?

You need to set HTML Protection in Advanced Security to Low
