I used the Quick Project wizard to start a new test project, just to see if ebook compiler would work. I followed all the directions, made a simple index.html page with only text, put it in the source folder, scanned the folder so that ebook compiler recognized the file, and clicked on run. It supposedly built the file, and the standard splash screen popped up, but nothing came up after that! Where's my ebook? What's wrong? I've tried this test a number of different times now, and nothing is working. I'm running WinME. I can send all the files in the project (very small size) to someone if that would help, but I'm sure there are no errors on my part. Please help! What's wrong?
I tried that, didn't work. Still the same problem. I have IE 6.0, perhaps that is the problem? Maybe the components of IE that active ebook compiler uses aren't the same as what it expects or something like that? I dunno, this is really ****
ing me off.
If I understand your description of the problem correctly, your installation IS corrupted.
While I am NOT accusing you of anything, if you are using a warez/crackz/illegal-copy/illegal-key (not obtained from Answers 2000 Limited - our company) of the software, then this is probably what corrupted your installation.
Oh, that could be. I found this at a discounted price at some online store (a while ago - I only just installed it). Maybe they were illegally selling a warez version of your product. In that case, sorry.
