link from home page to ebook sales page

Still struggling with some concepts here.  The following is from the help files of the compiler:

A user goes to your own web site, clicks on a link and starts downloading the E-Book to their computer.

A user goes to a library web site (a shareware or E-Book library), clicks on a link and downloads the E-Book to their computer.

A user goes to an FTP site, and uses the FTP program (or the FTP features of a modern web browser) to download the E-Book to their computer

These are the three ways for downloading ebooks. If I am set up with clickbank and have multiple passwords, is it option #2?  Or option #3  ?

I'm asking because of 2 main reasons.  The computer tech who is helping me believes I am suppose to only have one sales page that links to clickbank, that sends customers randomly back to one of the password pages, then.

That's what makes sense to me too.

The other reason is that if I want to link TO my sales page FROM my HOME PAGE, and say I use sales page #1, then I will always be selling the same password.  Yes?

Can someone help soon please?  I have the computer tech coming again tomorrow, as we could not get going yesterday because of this problem.  I'm getting charged, of course, for his time spent.  

I have registered with clickbank, but have not set up any page with them as yet.  Going there now to investigate, and maybe they can help in some way, too.

1. One copy of the file to download (the ebook)

2. One page describing why to download (like a sales letter)

3. External shareware libraries etc. can link to 1 or 2

4. Either multiple, nearly identical pages which sell your passwords (sales pages) or 1 page which is dynamically generated by a script, seewww.ebookapprentice.com/sell/cbpassword

5. Corresponding to 4, thankyou page(s) containing each password.  These are linked from 4 using clickbank sales links
