There is a nice example of saving a file to disk using a form for Activ Script at ebookcode.com, but no samples for loading a file's contents into a form field ... is this possible? I did notice code to open a file in notepad or similar .....
Is there a specific resource for all the Activ Script functions and codes?
Thanks for any suggestions!

EBookCompiler
There is a list of all the functions in the Reference section of this help
Yes it is possible. What you need to do is either use JavaScript integration to set the form fields values or use the DISPLAY function to display the form after retrieving the data from the file.
I am pretty sure there is some older discussion on this in this forum, look over the older threads
